An Overlooked Secret To Happiness
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about what I have, what I want, how I live, what I do, and I realized that I feel pretty content with my life. Yes, sure I wouldn’t mind a lighter flat, a happier mind-set, toned arms or a ridiculously expensive pair of sandals that I have bookmarked in my ‘want’ folder, but when it comes down to it all, I have enough and I bet you do too:)
So the other day, when I stumbled upon Seth’s brilliant quote, it felt good, familiar and reassuring, because enough is a personal choice. It’s totally individual, because we are all different and we all want different things…What’s enough for me might be not enough for you, but that’s okay, right?
'Knowing where 'enough' is.
More might be better for awhile, but sooner or later, it can't always be better. Diminishing returns are the law, not an exception.
If we look to advertisers, marketers, bosses, doctors, partners and suppliers to tell us when we've reached 'enough', we're almost certainly going to get it wrong.
It's okay to stop when you're happy. Is more always better? Sometimes, only better is better...'
