Things got a little WILD in the 'Woods once again on Wednesday night!

For the second time this week (twice in three days, in fact), an evening storm descended upon Cape May County, accompanied by some amazing cloud formations.

What we witnessed last night was a massive line of shelf clouds, which, according to AccuWeather, are "low, horizontal wedge-shaped clouds, associated with a thunderstorm gust front."

Further description describes what we saw in motion, seen in the following images captured by several of our readers:

"A rising cloud motion often can be seen in the leading part of the shelf cloud, while the underside often appears turbulent, boiling and wind-torn."

In the early stages of its formation, it was pretty clear - this thing had teeth! The above photo was captured by Mistie Clark in Wildwood Crest, just before sunset (... or, what would have been sunset).
