In my last post I showed you a picture of my new car.  Here is a photo taken by the insurance adjustor of my defunct car that was totaled in a multi-car accident two weeks ago.  

It actually looks better in this picture than it really is.  The adjustor estimated that it would cost over $11,000 to repair the car, and it was declared a total loss.

In the meantime, I am enjoying my new Prius.  It seems to be getting even better gas mileage than my previous car.  I have been getting anywhere between 59 and 80 mpg every time that I drive it.  Of course I do have to admit that after the accident I have been driving like the proverbial "little old lady".
