The hugely popular open-top bus will be returning to Thanet this summer... in fact, we'll be running two routes!

Buses will run every day between 22 July and 3 September 2017.

The open top route 69 was revived during 2016 and used ALX400 bodied Dennis Trident fleet number 17529 (LX51 FON), originally TAS529 in the Stagecoach East London fleet, the bus shown here at Ramsgate bound for Broadstairs last August.

And finally by comparison, a blast from the past.
Back in the late 1960s early 1970s, East Kent route 69 ran the North Kent Coast service with a small fleet of converted Park Royal bodied Guy Arabs. One such was 376 (FFN 376) here on a breezy day in July 1970 as it passed through Palm Bay on way to the terminus at the Hoverport.
