City of Wildwood declares state of emergency

NO TRAFFIC IS PERMITTED IN THE CITY OTHER THAN EMERGENCY VEHICLES, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.

Today's storm has made roadways hazardous and in many cases impassible for some vehicles. Winds have created snow drifts several feet deep on some roads and Wildwood Police Department officers have assisted numerous drivers in freeing their stuck vehicles.

With an Emergency Proclamation now in place, only emergency vehicles should be on the roadway.

This will free our officers to help others in need of assistance during the storm while public works employees concentrate on clearing the streets.
