Jimbo's Restaurant, formerly the Athens Restaurant at 2410 Atlantic Avenue, was recently sold and has been slated for demolition. 

The diner-style eatery, a popular breakfast spot over the years, will be replaced by new townhouses. Demolition and new construction dates have not yet been set.

Commercial units may be incorporated on the ground floor of the new structure, but that still remains to be decided.

Jimbo's had added a 9-hole mini-golf course on the north side of its property in 2013.
