With the unofficial start of the summer happening this weekend, we want our residents and visitors to have an enjoyable and safe beach experience.

Additional officers will be assigned to the beach over Memorial Day Weekend, taking a proactive approach enforcing underage drinking and disorderly conduct.

Convictions for underage possession and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages carry a penalty of not less than $500.00 and possible driver's license suspension.

As always, call 9-1-1 if you have an emergency.
