Seaside Events announced today that the Movies on the Beach series, which was to begin this Sunday, July 15, is being moved back one week due to "technical difficulties."
The first showing will now be on Sunday, July 22, featuring Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
This weekend's scheduled movie, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, will now be shown on Sunday, August 26.
The updated schedule is as follows:
July 22 - Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle
July 29 - Jaws
August 5 - Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2
August 12 - Ready Player One
August 19 - Avengers: Infinity WarAugust 26 - Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Movies will be shown on Sunday nights at 8:30 PM at Leaming Avenue Beach, projected onto a 30 ft. inflatable screen.
Admission opens at 7:30 PM, with movies starting at dusk. Beach chairs and blankets are encouraged, while tents, umbrellas and flags will be prohibited.
On-site vendors will sell kettlecorn, ice cream, funnel cake and more.
