There will be something to DOO in Byrne Plaza, at 3400 Pacific Avenue in Downtown Wildwood, nearly every day of the week this summer!
The Wildwood Business Improvement District (WBID) kicked off the 2019 season with the first of nine multi day Food Truck Festivals on April 13th & 14th. Co-managed by What’s On Your Food Truck Events, all nine events will feature live and DJ music, family friendly contests, lawn games, food and craft vendors, as well as beer and wine tasting and sales.
Future WOYFT Events include the Memorial Day Weekend Bacon Lovers Festival, Country Band Concert Weekend and the Seafood and Wine Festival in June, the 80’s Dance Concert Weekend in July, the Wine & Jazz Festival in August and the Chili & Chowder Cook-Off and Hall-O-Wine Festivals in October!
The Downtown Wildwood Farmers Market will return for the 6th season beginning on May 25th, and be held every Saturday morning from 8 am until 12:30 pm through September! Featuring over 30 vendors of Farm Goods, Baked Goods, Specialty Foods, handmade non-food items and the popular DOOWW magnets, the Farmers Market is the place to be on Saturday mornings.
Starting the week of June 24th, Byrne Plaza will host 5 Fabulous Days of Fitness from 8:30 to 9:30 am; Monday, Wednesday and Friday will be a Boot Camp Circuit Training Class and Tuesdays and Thursdays will be Yoga Class.
Free Tuesday Night Movies return with Teen Titans Go! To The Movies on June 25th and continue every Tuesday evening as soon as it gets dark. Come early to grab dinner Downtown and don’t forget your beach chairs and blankets!
Thursdays are Music in the Plaza nights beginning with Roundhouse Band on June 27th, and every Thursday from 7:30 to 9 pm. A special July 4th concert will feature the Juliano Brothers from 7:30 up to the 10 pm fireworks and music simulcast over the Byrne Plaza sound system! Plan to come and enjoy free music and dancing under the stars on Thursday nights in Downtown Wildwood. New for 2019 will be beer and wine available for purchase during the concert.
